Jerry has over twenty years of executive experience in the Independent Power Industry. He has been a renewable energy developer since the 1980s, with extensive experience in successfully leading energy related companies through the finance, development and management stages of independent power projects, as well as commercialized energy efficiency products.

As Chairman & CEO,  Jerry leads the growth of EIG and the oversight of its investments and companies, as well as their collective green energy facilities under development.

Prior to founding EIG, Jerry served as Chairman and President of Pentech Energy, from 1989 to 2001, when he sold the company. While with Pentech, he raised venture capital funding, developed utility scale energy facilities, and commercialized energy technology products.

Prior founding Pentech, he was an executive for Caterpillar and it’s subsidiary, Solar Turbines. While with Caterpillar Capital Company, he helped lead their independent power development projects.

Jerry is a native Floridian, he earned an MBA from Iona College in New York and also conducted PhD studies at the University of California, Berkeley.
